Oregon Tradeswomen Inc. held a Women in Trades Career Fair last weekend. Women Build had a info table there - which I 'womanned' most of the time but I also took a couple breaks to check out all the cool stuff they had going on. It was really a well-run fair, with lots of hands-on activities for kids and adults. Great crowd too - we sold quite a few t-shirts and signed up some women up for our volunteer list.

Women Build is ramping up for our 2008 build. We have a big kickoff event this weekend for Lowe's National Women Build Week. The new homeowner is such a sweetheart and really excited about working with all of us, which is always great.
