Not only because it's my birthday month but I just love the fall weather, the leaves, halloween. It was a particularly gorgeous October in Portland. *sigh*

The top one was carved by Dad and is jealously regarding my pumpkin, who was the big winner at Karen and Bob's 15th annual pumpkin carving contest.
